Busy day AGAIN (+ good news)

I barely slept, again. I'm so, so tired. I don't know how to go on like this. But I am! It's pretty impressive.

I want to start with the good news because I am super tired and super meh on everything else:

• I won a little contest! The results aren't out yet but I've been DM'd by the organizes-- I'm super excited, but keeping it under wraps for now.
• I got a donation!! on my LiberaPay!! It's my first donation ever on this platform, and it feels so good! Thank you so much, whoever you are! I really hope I can spruce it up soon and receive more donations there, because it feels more aligned with my values than the others, and I just. need money to live unfortunately.

Okay, moving on now!

Several trips to the recycling center today, only to learn that each household is only allowed one trip per workweek day. So we're... not done, and I was really looking forward to being done. I'm very disappointed! And very angry to be limited in the use of a service my taxes pay for. sighs Do I sound like one of those libertarians? I really hope not. I'm not one! I love paying taxes! I just disagree with the use that's made of them.

Then back home, did the laundry, switched bedsheet on both our beds, and started working on the Trans Joy jam game. Super happy that there's an extension. Managed a few cute little maps in just a few hours. Writing the text and adding the music tomorrow, and then voilà. It's a Bitsy game again-- I wanted to do a ren'py VN for both the Trans Joy jam and the Aro jam, and... it's not happening. Between learning the new engine and not being in a VN writing mood at all, I'd rather publish something that's not what I had planned than not publish something at all.

I'm a bit scared to start the writing part, as always. What if it doesn't work, what if nobody cares, etc. Always very scary. It's OK. I'm allowed to be scared.

Then MORE frustration regarding the Farming Game tutorial, and barely a few minutes of tweaking the color scheme of my Benten Pond website. Now I'm too tired. I wanna sleep. Meh! See you soon. Hopefully tomorrow.
